Soo.. when my Husband and I were going through our Baby Registry I told him I did NOT want a Rocking Chair. Reasons being..
1) Something about a rocking chair freaks me out! LOL. (must have been some horror movies I’ve watched back in the day)
2) I didn’t think I would really use it
3) Kinda pricey (for us)
Well.. after my son was born… when he would get up in the middle of the night to feed, my husband would roll the computer chair over next to our bed and I would sit in it, kick my legs up on the bed, and feed my son while rocking back and forth in the chair! LOL.. (I still do this now when my son gets up for his night feedings!)
Does anyone else do this!? Or am I the only one! LOL
If not… I do suggest to the Mommies and Daddies-to-be to use your current computer chair (if you have one) as a "rocking chair" instead of spending the $200+ on a rocking/glider chair! LOL
Our computer chair looks kinda like this one http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/676715/RS-To-Go-Ruvia-Mid-Back/
To Caitlin M: I thought I was the only one who called her baby "Fussy Bucket" LOL!
Lol…I thought I WAS the only one!
Hahaha Yes..once I moved my daughter to her crib, we didnt really have the money to buy a nice rocking chair..so we just used our computer chair..I have blankets over it b/c the leather gets cold at night..but it works perfectly..I actually dont rock it though..we just swivel side to side.
I was sitting in my glider rocking chair and thought it looked pretty to have my arches nestled together. It was hot that day and I needed to cool off my feet with a little rocking.

I have been looking at a glider with a stationary footstool or a rocking recliner.
I think a breastfeeding pillow on ANY chair that let’s you put your feet up is nice. If you have a recliner in your house, save the money on the chair and invest in a nursing pillow instead.
We are shopping for a glider chair and we went to Babies R Us and sat in every seat they have there. We are down to 2 to choice and I really would love some input!
The Carter’s is a combo and the chair and ottoman are $400 together. I like this chair but I’m not sure. I LOVE that it has covered sides so it seems a bit safer. I also like that it’s cheaper and includes the gliding ottoman.

This one was very nice and comfy. Cons are the price, which is $500 for just the chair and $200 more for the ottoman. The sides are not covered which worries me because our baby is already 14 months old and getting his little figures into everything! The arms are also lower which might make it harder to nurse him without an additional pillow. Several reviews said the chair tipped over also which concerns me.
Does anyone have either? There was one 1 review for the Carters. We just can’t decide if it’s worth it to spend that much extra $$ because it’s not cheap!
The more expensive one is very roomy and comfortable which is why we are considering it. Also we are thinking that it is better quality and might last longer.

Where Can I Find one im lookin to spend around 100$ W/Out the Ottoman! Any help, Link’s, Would be Amazing Thanks Everyone!
Walmart has gliders with the ottoman for $125-$150 or without the ottoman for as cheap as $80. I got mine there and I love it, it’s very comfy and perfect to rock for hours when she’s fussy.
Here’s my finished lawn chair. I am going to do another lawn chair, but for now I am working on a metal outdoor glider. It has to come apart first…
The glider will be repainted in bright green.

Now I know why people buy gliders, but it was a nursery gift. I’m sick of pulling the chair back into position. What can I do?
